The indexed feature in KW tracker doesn't seem to be doing anything. It's only displaying a checkmark for keywords I am organically ranked for, otherwise it is displaying an X.
It should be checking, of course, to see if the product is indexed for a specific keyword.
I have many keywords which have an X for indexed, which I have manually verified are indeed indexed.
It appears it has been behaving this way at least since the "MDS TOOLS WALKTHROUGH" video, where in Ians demonstration it was behaving the same way (see screenshot).
This is not an "indexed" check, it is a "ranked" check which is not particularly useful, considering we can sort by Organic rank already.
