Dashboard comparison time frames

Dashboard should say what time frame it is comparing to (when it shows up/down/change%). Currently I see no way to know what time frame is being used for comparison.
This time frame should be adjustable (compare to: same time prior year, same time prior month, same time prior week, etc).

Hi John Migetz Jr, the dashboard credit cards show the trend from the previous period you are currently working with. For example, if you enable the dashboard to see 'this month' numbers, the metric cards will show what changed from last month to this month. if you are in 'this week' it will show last week comparison, etc. It will show the change from the previous period you are currently working with.

Hey Berenice M.. Just wanted to contribute more feedback to this item:
I understand your response and that it is comparing "this month" to "last month"...I hope I can elaborate on my suggestion in my original post. This is a critical feature that needs to be re-evaluated for Elite Seller to have a Dashboard that can compete with the best.
- it should be indicated on the screen what it is comparing to (for example, if I select this month and it is the 15th of the month. Is it comparing the 1st - 15th of this month to the 1st - 15th of last month? Or is it comparing the 1st -15th of this month to the 1st -30th of last month? We should minimize the users guess work.
- The user should be able to decide how the comparison function works. For seasonal businesses (almost all have some element of seasonality), the comparison function in its current form could be made much more useful. For me, it is not very useful to compare December to November for example. It is much more useful compare December of this year to December of last year. All businesses are different and the functionality should not restrict users to a set way of thinking if at all possible.
In summary, the UI should certainly indicate the comparison time period, and the user should be able to fully control the comparison date range, and it should include the ability to compare:
This year to date to last year to date
(i.e. January 1st 2020 - August 14th 2020 vs January 1st 2019 - August 14th 2019)
This month to date To Last month to date
(i.e. August 1st 2020 - August 14th 2020 vs. July 1st 2020 - July 14th 2020)
This month to date To Last year same month to date
(i.e. August 1st 2020 - August 14th 2020 vs August 1st 2019 - August 14th 2019
This week to date to Last week to date
(i.e. August 9th 2020 - August 14th 2020 vs August 2nd 2020 - August 7th 2020)
This week to date to last year same week to date
(i.e. August 9th 2020 - August 14th 2020 vs August 9th 2019 - August 14th 2019)
I hope this is helpful.
